ABOUT ME
MEET HIPWRITERCHICK

CONTENT CREATOR AND...
Welcome to hipwriterchick.com!

My name is Tricia Anne, otherwise known as hipwriterchick.

I am the Marketing and Communications Manager for a non-profit organization where I am privileged to be able to develop, oversee, and deploy a wide range of marketing strategies, social media campaigns, and public relations events, as well as actively design and create the related materials. It's all things I love to do!

In addition to my main job, I've had the opportunity to work as a freelancer and solopreneur in the marketing and communications field, focusing on branding and content for a variety of businesses. I also come with a background in the publishing industry where I managed a library of 100+ products annually, wrote and delivered training materials, and was heavily involved in the planning and execution of many site, department, and team events.

My hipwriterchick projects to-date run the gamut from branding consulting, content creation for social media accounts, event flyers, online event script writing, hosting, and facilitating, website design and event planning and facilitating.

When I'm not hard at work on something work-related, you can usually find me writing personal essays, taking artsy little pictures (@hipwriterchicksartsypixpage), providing intuitive readings (@trishcamtarot), or performing comedy with my two improv teams, (@leftfordeadimprov and goodluckimprov.

Write on!

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
RACHEL
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
CHILD CARE COUNCIL OF ORANGE COUNTY
I had the pleasure of meeting with Tricia for a website development consult at the Child Care Council of Orange County. Tricia was professional and extremely prepared for our meeting. She carefully analyzed our current website and presented the areas that needed attention with a plan to strengthen them and identified areas of opportunity for further engagement with our audience members.
Tricia's knowledge of website design, management, and integration was outstanding and she was able to adjust her verbiage to ensure that I, an executive director who is not digitally savvy, could understand the concepts being presented. Tricia demonstrated a thorough grasp of the childcare industry despite not having experience in our industry, which can be attributed to her level of dedication in preparing for our interview.
Tricia will be a wonderful asset to a team or organization.
SHAWN EDWARD
FOUNDER & LEAD INVESTIGATOR
SPIRITWALKERS PARANORMAL
I’m writing this recommendation for Tricia Campbell and her business, hipwriterchick. Tricia helped me clearly define the purpose and goals of my website for the Spiritwalkers Paranormal Association. She designed a professional look and feel for my current website, allowing my group to uniquely identify ourselves. She also organized the flow of the website content, making the site much easier to navigate. She created the images to match the look and purpose of the website. She strategized on the go-forward plan to optimize my web and social media presence. She wrote engaging website content to help better engage with my audience and helped redesign my group’s logo, as well as provided counsel on how I can achieve my personal goals for my group. Tricia has truly been an asset to me and my group.
ROGER
OWNER & CO-FOUNDER
THE FOCUS THEATER
I first met Tricia Campbell when the Improv troop that I founded and known as Left for Dead was seeking new players. Trish came to audition and never left. Since joining Left for Dead Improv in 2018, Tricia has not only performed with us, she has also taken on the position of marketing our brand and advertising our product which is comedy with a capital “C”. Her initiative to update and populate our Facebook and Instagram accounts, create and distribute flyers for live shows, set up interviews about team experiences has been instrumental in our growth.
Trish has a good eye for what makes good content and her improv skills, as well as her training and experience as a marketer and social media content creator, gives her an edge when it comes to creativity. She knows her branding and is always open to trying new things. As a matter of fact, Left for Dead just finished up performing several shows at The Focus Theater for the Rochester Fringe Festival. Trish’s efforts toward publicizing our shows on social media, including boosting of posts, resulted in doubling pre-show ticket sales and increasing our followers and site engagement numbers as well.
She’s an asset to any marketing and social media project that she is a part of. I highly recommend her. She’s also a good team player.

FLYING PINCUSHION GAMES
I've employed Tricia to edit copy, assist on layout, and do some graphic design for my publishing company, Flying Pincushion Games. She is professional, timely, and listens to and anticipates feedback to make the collaboration process efficient and low effort on my end. I'd recommend her for any of these services and intend to hire her for social media and promotion/marketing work in the near future.
